CROSSWORD

Circle a Word

Here’s a list of U.S. capital cities. Locate and circle them in the word puzzle. They appear either horizontally, vertically or diagonally, both backwards and forwards. Upon circling these cities, seven letters will remain that spell another U.S. capital city. Place these letters in the boxes beneath the grid for the answer.

Sudoku

Fill in the grid so that every row, column and 3×2 box contains the digits 1 through 6.

Like Starters

Each string of letters below becomes a two-word phrase in which the same letter starts each of the two words, as in HULA HOOP and ALL ABOARD. However, the first letter of each word has been removed and the remaining letters have been joined together. See if you can determine the original phrases.
